I have had a great experience prepping with Magoosh. They are by far the most cost effective option available; the value you get compared to other service is incredible. The adaptive feature really helps you get accustomed to the GREs terrible tendency to crank up the difficulty as soon as you're on a roll. The videos are also really helpful and comprehensive. Overall, after hours of researching prep options and many more hours studying, I would say Magoosh is the best option available.

I am not good in maths and have not studied that subject for 7 years or so but because of magoosh and their practice sessions I made it without having a panick attack. Also the apps for building your vocabulary includes all the important words. I am from a non-english speaking country and perfoming well in verbal section requires guidance. Learning new words along with the tricks required for doing good in verbal reasoning. everything was provided by magoosh. I also had to take TOEFL and got help from magoosh for it too.

Oct 13, 2019I have started preparing for GRE exam after 6 years of my undergraduate. Magoosh GRE maths lessons were very helpful to pick the pace up in Maths and as a non-native english speaker, verbal section was a tough task to me. Magoosh GRE verbal videos taught me to approach the Verbal section with better understanding.
Magoosh practice questions helped me to identify my weakest areas and practice more. Magoosh 'Review' page is an easiest tool to use and it can provide you an astute view of what you need to focus next based on the practice questions you have answered. Summary - It's worth of every penny paid and definitely helped me to improve my scores.

Dec 24, 2019I have no basis of comparison as I did not take the GRE before Magoosh. I was; however, someone who had been out of college for five years and my math and my brain overall felt pretty rusty. Prior to Magoosh I used the lessons on khanacademy to brush up on my algebra, then I used the one-month study plan on Magoosh. The questions on Magoosh were far harder and more reflective of what I found on the test. The verbal lessons were quite good, and shifted my decision making process from doing estimated guesses for verbal questions to actually applying methods I wouldn't have otherwise known. I scored a 318 on my first attempt of the GRE which was above and beyond my expectations as standardized tests have never been my strong suit. I appreciate this service a lot!

Advertisement Jul 20, 2020I absolutely love Magoosh. I would recommend it to literally everyone. The videos covered every topic I needed to know so perfectly. They had more than enough practice problems for me to do and helpful videos explaining why each problem was correct. The practice questions were very similar to what was on the exam and the scores I received from their practice tests were relatively accurate. My first test I got a 158 quantitative in a 149 verbal. After using Magoosh, on the actual test I scored a 163 quantitative and a 161 verbal. Magoosh helped me do so much better. I used the three month plan once and then went back over a one month advance plan. All the plans are great.

Huge thanks to the Magoosh team for providing an excellent learning experience! Having ADHD makes revision a real struggle but I found that Magoosh's fun, engaging and easy-to-follow lessons enabled me to stay focused and motivated.
As well, the content is brilliant, covering everything you need to know, nothing more and nothing less. That being said, there are many questions labelled 'very hard' which will, if anything, over prepare you for the exam and help you to get a great score!

Jun 20, 2019I was able to do GRE and score well, especially the quantitative section, thanks to Magoosh. Earlier I had tried another service for GRE prep, which was not at all good. Magoosh has everything from basic explanations a great deal of practice questions and current GRE related info. With Magoosh one does not have to look at any other resources for GRE preparation.

I was amazed by how organized things were and how quickly the team responded to my questions. Magoosh completely changed the way I was preparing and answering questions though, in the best way possible. Beginning my studies again a few months ago, my practice exam score was right at 660. With Magoosh, official prep resources, and the GMATClub, I was able to score a 750!
Magoosh is awesome for getting a good feel for the exam and building the foundation for mastering the background material. Their practice questions, especially for the quant section, are pretty representative of the actual exam.
I’d encourage others to use Magoosh, and follow their study plan (which encourages you to use official prep material as well).

Jul 23, 2019I liked Magoosh very much. In fact, I might use them again. The platform is very user friendly and easy to use. Their pricing is very reasonable. For me, the verbal content was thorough and there was enough practice to significantly improve any areas of difficulty. The lessons are in order and you can practice the material right after you learn it by filtering your practice by specific subject areas and levels of difficulty. The staff was also very helpful anytime I had a problem/concern/or question. I used Magoosh a few years ago. At that time, I found that the math wasn't quite thorough enough for my needs. I needed a very intensive review with a lot of practice and strategy tips. Overall, it's definitely worth trying out.

Dec 17, 2019I struggled with studying for the GRE at first and decided to invest in the Magoosh Premium Prep subscription. It was well worth my money. I attended a Princeton in person prep class before, but I still struggled with the math core concepts. The Magoosh study plan (I got the 90 day study plan) provided me with a better structure and resources than the in person prep class. I was hesitant to use online prep because I struggle keeping myself accountable to a daily study routine. With the study plans magoosh has available it is so simple to adapt to a routine. Additionally, whenever I struggled with a question or concept there were always tutorial videos available that explained everything in a detailed manner. The support team also responded very quickly when I had a question that wasn't already listed in their forums/videos.
